Went in to HarperCollins today and signed the 666 book plates for the UK Waterstones limited edition of "Demon Thief". Took me a bit more than 2 hours. As before, I wrote in all the numbers too. Most of the books will just carry my signature and the number, but a few have little messages as well -- it's pure luck as to who winds up with those!!!!

Went to see "Land of the Dead" when I was finished signing. It was OK. Had its good parts, but plenty of dud bits too. Still, as zombie flicks go, it's far from the worst!! After that, I had dinner with Bas and Maiko (Mexican grub, at the Texas Embassy near Trafalgar Square), then went to see "Les Miserables". It's the 4th time I've seen it, and it never ceases to amaze me. It's easily the best play in London, as far as I'm concerned -- great story, brilliant songs, perfectly paces, and wonderfully staged. (I preffered it in its previous theatre, since there was a much bigger stage, but that's a minor gripe.) The guy playing Thenardier (who gets to sing my favourite song of the show, "Master of the House") wasn't very strong this time, but the rest of the cast were top-notch. If you're in London, or coming there soon, and haven't seen "Les Mis" yet -- GO!!!!! You won't find many better ways to pass a few hours in this life!!!

Sadly, I finished Lord Loss in 3 days because I just couldn't put it down. but now i've got demon thief.
i love the way the stories intertwine and i think its cool how the occur- ances of book 2 happen before those in book 1. make more soon PLEASE!

I LOVE Les Mis! one of my friends is obsessed with it (I actually met her when she saw me reading a Cirque du Freak book). Master of the House is one of my favorite songs, too (I also like At The End of the Day). They did the show at my summer camp, and my mom said it was the first time she'd seen it where she thought the girl who played Cosette was better than the girl who played Eponine, which was ironic, because the girl who played Eponine was like a big celebrity at the camp. Les Mis isn't my favorite musical, though. I actually like Rent a lot.

Darren, you should have been in Fife earlier this year as i was actually in a performance of Les Miserables school edition. i played a student and i luved it 'cause i got a gun (not a real one unfortunately) and i got to die slow motin. see ya

I've wanted to see Les Miserables ever since I got into Phantom of the Opera. I lisened to the clip from the Les Mis CD, and fell in love. I would read the book, but it's so freakin thick! Oi. You should see Phantom, if you havent. It's a dream of mine to go see a play in Her Majesty's Theator and meet her. I'll have to cross out one of my dreams on your American tour ;D YAY

I saw Les Mis when my school put it on back in May. Of course, as a Jr. High preformance it probably wasn't as up key with what you saw but my favorite song from the show is also MASTER OF THE HOUSE! I even got it on my iPod because at the time me and the friend i went to go see it with were obsessed with it!
