Edited some more of my D B Shan book. It's a twisty little beast, even
by my standards, a ghost story unlike any other! I know that's a large
claim to make, but I certainly haven't ever read anything quite like
this one!! Elements of it come in from all over the place, from movies
and books and comics, but the way they all click together is quite
unique, to the best of my knowledge. Here's hoping my publishers are
tickled by its twists as much as I am when I send it to them!!! |

| Robbie June 20, 2009 11:17 AM PDT Happy to hear you are progressing on a different ghost story now for adults. Nice when things interlock I think. J.K. Rowling had two poems before the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows featured within the final novel of the series. Glad to know you are foolowing suit. Wonder what the lyrics are like. Write more soon please. | ||
| marion June 19, 2009 08:47 PM PDT Considering the subject matter of your books a jokey guess at the Maximo lyric would be "behind your veil I found the body underneath" but that would be too obvious lol, so I think instead "I like to wait and see how things turn out, if you apply some pressure". Though if you had been looking for one for Dark Calling "I hope that I am still alive next year" might have been appropriate ;-) Love Maximo Park. Seen them several times and they are just so full of energy, you leave their gigs really buzzing. Great that you are going to have one of their lyrics in your book. | ||
